We are seeking two motivated and driven Multi-Skilled Engineering Apprentices to join our team starting September 2024.

The Apprenticeship Programme

The first 12 months involve full-time attendance at Gloucestershire Engineering Training College (GET) to gain a broad engineering introduction, NVQ Level 2, and Year 1 Technical Certificate.

Following this, over the next 3 years, apprentices will receive on-site training at the INVISTA Gloucester site, working alongside skilled technicians and engineers, with one day per week at GET. The programme aims for apprentices to achieve NVQ Level 3 in Mechatronics Maintenance and a Technical Certificate (in Year 2). There is also potential to complete a Higher National Certificate in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.

Who You Are

• 5 GCSEs grades A-C or 9-5, including Maths, English, and Science.
• Practical mindset with demonstrated interest in engineering through schoolwork or outside interests.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, committed, hardworking, able to work under supervision, independently, and as part of a team.
• Interest in Electrical/Mechanical maintenance.
• Must be at least 18 years old by 1st September 2024.
