Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering with strong electrical and mechanical experience.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of PLCs and variable speed drives.
• Proven ability to carry out root cause analysis and technical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance to ensure maximum machine uptime.
• Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns and minimise production disruption.
• Diagnose faults using both electrical and mechanical root cause analysis techniques.
• Support installation and maintenance of electrical systems (up to 400V), PLCs, and control circuits.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and equipment optimisation projects.
• Assist in developing risk assessments, SOPs, and maintenance schedules.
• Build strong working relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors.
• Ensure all safety risks and breakdowns are addressed promptly.
