Job summary

My client, Morson Group, in Milton Keynes, seeks a Multi-Skilled Electrical Biased Engineer for a temporary role. The position covers PPM and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and requires strong fault-finding skills and teamwork.

The role includes routine maintenance, fire alarm checks, and meticulous logbook records. It commences immediately with a 6+ week duration and offers hourly pay options (£29 umbrella / £22 PAYE).

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Experience in maintenance of electrical systems, lighting, and power distribution.
• Knowledge of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks and responsive repairs on electrical systems, lighting, and power within the facility.
• Perform weekly fire alarm checks to ensure systems are fully operational.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logbooks of all maintenance activities.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure maintenance tasks are completed effectively and in a timely manner.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed and report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
• Support the maintenance of documentation and assist in compiling reports as required.
