Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer - Fabric Engineer to maintain plant and building fabric at Heathrow under the BiasHours contract. You will perform plumbing, carpentry, painting and tiling, delivering a high-quality service in line with schedules and contract requirements.

The role emphasizes safety, CAFM documentation, training, and career development within a supportive team environment that upholds Mitie's values and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with general hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance of plant, equipment and general fabric work (plumbing, carpentry, painting, tiling).
• Prioritise tasks and complete planned and reactive works on schedule.
• Work safely in line with Health and Safety policies and PPE use.
• Complete documentation accurately in CAFM and related systems.
• Participate in training, appraisals and development as directed by the Operations Manager.

Role: Multi Skilled Engineer - Fabric Engineer BiasHours: 42 hours (4 On, 4 Off)Location: Hounslow, TW6 1QG, At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for a Fabric Engineer who will maintain plant and equipment associated with Heathrow, ensuring all planned and reactive works are carried out efficiently in line with contract requirements, relevant legislation, and best practice.

Role Responsibilities:

• -Carry out maintenance of plant, equipment, and general fabric work including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and tiling, ensuring a high-quality service at all times
• -Manage workload effectively, prioritising tasks and ensuring all planned and reactive works are completed in line with schedules, SLAs, and documentation requirements
• -Work safely and diligently in compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures, including correct use of PPE and reporting of hazards or deficiencies
• -Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, with a strong understanding of policies, procedures, and CAFM systems
• -Participate fully in training, appraisals, and continuous development, undertaking additional duties as required by the Operations Manager
