Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Operative to support installation, maintenance and repair tasks across multiple sites.

The role requires independent and collaborative work to deliver planned and remedial works on time, with strict adherence to health and safety regulations. Qualified to BS 7671 (18th Edition) in Electrical Installations, you will read technical drawings, test equipment, and follow lockout/tagout procedures while maintaining housekeeping and attending

Qualifications

• Must be able to undertake fabric tasks as directed by site.
• Complete all reactive and PPM tasks as instructed.
• Adhering to site H&S procedures and policies.
• Carry out testing, fault diagnosis, repairs, and updates to maintenance work orders
• Use appropriate test equipment and tools, understanding their limitations
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures-no live working permitted
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and attend toolbox talks
• Role involves working independently and collaboratively to deliver planned and remedial works on time

Complete electrical installations and assist tradespeople with wiring, calibration, and alignment tasks.

• Must be able to undertake fabric tasks as directed by site.
• Complete all reactive and PPM tasks as instructed.
• Adhering to site H&S procedures and policies.
• Supervising and escorting of both Mitie and the customers subcontractors.
• Must be willing to carry out overtime Out of hours.
• Must be IT literate.
• Carry out testing, fault diagnosis, repairs, and updates to maintenance work orders
