Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Bradford is seeking a Multi-skilled Engineer - Electrical bias (Static) to support installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems across various sites in the BD1 area.

You will perform electrical installations, carry out testing, fault-finding and routine maintenance, and ensure all work adheres to health and safety standards. The role is full-time and site-based, with a focus on safe operation and high quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• BS 7671 (18th Edition) qualified in electrical installations.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant equipment, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance procedures.
• Self-motivated, organized and committed to continuous learning.
• Professional and safety-conscious, able to raise health and safety concerns.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical installations and assist tradespeople with wiring, calibration and alignment tasks.
• Carry out electrical testing, fault-finding, repairs and maintenance activities, updating work orders accurately.
• Use electrical test equipment and tools safely and effectively, understanding their capabilities and limitations.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including lockout/tagout processes, ensuring no live working takes place.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and actively participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings.
