Job description

Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) - x2 Positions

We're looking for two Multi-Skilled Engineers with an Electrical Bias to join our team.

You'll be responsible for maintaining and improving heavy industrial machinery and overhead cranes, ensuring a safe and efficient production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repairs on systems up to 440V (3-Phase), including motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
* Implement and improve preventative maintenance programs.
* Write and follow Risk Assessments.
* Utilize mobile devices for maintenance tasks and manage daily schedules efficiently.
* Deputize for the Shift Leader when required.

Experience Required:

* Recognized apprenticeship with strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance.
* City & Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications (18th Edition), along with mechanical competencies.
* Proficiency in fault-finding, PLC diagnostics, and experience with 3-phase motors, drives, and inverters.
* Ability to write Risk and Method Statements and understand Permits.
