Job Description:

Vox is currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an Air Conditioning bias. In this role, you will operate and maintain building AC/HVAC systems, perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance, conduct diagnostics and fault finding, and carry out general maintenance including plumbing and toilet blockages. You will participate in out-of-hours call-outs and complete documentation accurately.

Main Duties

• Perform routine PPM tasks following the SFG20 framework.
• Carry out reactive maintenance, electrical repairs, and air conditioning repairs as needed.
• Complete minor new works and certifications.
• Attend site meetings and training sessions.
• Be proactive on-site.
• Undertake other duties aligned with contract requirements.
• Collaborate with other disciplines for multi-service provision.
• Procure materials and equipment through the Supervisor or Manager.
• Work outside normal hours when required, with additional pay.
• Participate in a callout rota, with additional pay.
• Support contract mobilisation and change management.
• Utilize mobile technology effectively.
• Manage financial procedures and improve delivery efficiency.
• Promote company values and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and legislative requirements.
• Follow client operational procedures.
• Obtain necessary access permissions and complete risk assessments.

What we are looking for

• Experience in maintenance, testing, and fault finding on HVAC and lighting equipment.
• At least 5 years in a dedicated Air Conditioning service role (not installation).
• Experience with Packaged or Air Handling units, split systems.
• Experience working on commercial equipment, not domestic.
• C&G 236 Part 1 & 2 qualifications.
• BS7671 Electrical Regulations compliance.
• C&G 2391 Electrical Inspection and Testing certification.
