Job summary

Job Advert in the Midlands is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to work across client sites, performing carpentry, plastering, tiling and related trades. You will travel between sites using your own transport, with hours Monday to Friday and site-specific requirements.

Applicants should have a core trade qualification or proven cross-trade experience, a valid UK driving licence, CSCS card, asbestos awareness, and the ability to manage jobs from start to finish to high standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within similar role.
• Core trade qualification or ability to demonstrate experience across multiple trades.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Own tools (general + battery powered).
• CSCS Card or equivalent.
• Asbestos awareness certification.
• Basic electrical or plumbing qualification/experience.
• Ability to complete work to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Carpentry work including fire doors and hardware.
• Kitchen and bathroom installs or refurbishments.
• Plastering, dry lining and partitioning.
• Tiling and flooring (LVT, lino, laminate).
• Painting and decorating.
• General plumbing tasks.
• Mould and damp treatment.
• Brickwork and render repair.
• External work such as fencing and gutters.
• Reviewing jobs and updating reports on company tablets.
• Checking product labels and materials on site.

Multi Skilled Engineer required for our client in the Midlands area.

You will be required to commute in your own transport to client sites acrossMidlands area.

This role is Monday to Friday, hours dependent on customers requirements.

Salary: dependent on experience/expertise

Duties:

• Carpentry Work (fire doors, window/doors, hardware)
• Kitchen & Bathroom installs/refurb
• Plastering/Dry Lining/Partitioning
• Tiling/Flooring (LVT, Lino & Laminate)
• Painting & Decorating
• General Plumbing
• Mould/Damp treatment
• Brickwood/render repair
• External work (fencing, gutters fascias)
• Looking at jobs, and updating reports on company tablets
• Handling of products checking labels

Requirements/Desirable:

• Proven experience within similar role
• Core trade qualification or ability to demonstrate experience across multiple trades
• Full Valid UK Driving Licence
• Own tools (general + battery powered)
• Ability to work independently, manage jobs start to finish
• CSCS Card or equivalent
• Asbestos awareness certification
• Basic electrical or plumbing qualification/experience
