Job summary

Kier is seeking a Multi-Skilled Operative to support the Ministry of Justice contract across sites in the South of England. Location: Mobile South. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 – 17:00, with a focus on reliable maintenance, fault diagnosis and safe operation of plant and equipment.

You will hold NVQ3 or equivalent and have demonstrable maintenance experience. The role rewards collaborative teamwork, thorough workmanship and strict adherence to safety and paperwork requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance and minor repair works.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on systems and plant equipment.
  • Installing new plant and equipment when required.
  • Working safely in accordance with work instructions and method statements, completing all paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas.

We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Operative to join our Ministry of Justice contract based in the South of England. Location: Mobile South. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 17:00. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. Join our team as a Multi-Skilled Operative and play a vital role in delivering exceptional maintenance services. You'll be working across various sites, ensuring facilities are well-maintained and operating efficiently. What will you be responsible for?
