Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a maintenance-ready professional to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems at multiple sites. The role involves completing service sheets, updating compliance logs, and supervising contractors to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

You will work in a hybrid setup across Northampton, Cambridge, and some London sites, requiring a current driving licence and a strong understanding of safety procedures.

Qualifications

• NVQ, or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services along with proven maintenance experience.
• Sound knowledge of safety documentation to ensure site safety procedures are always followed.
• Understanding of First Aid
• IT literate with basic Excel and Microsoft products
• Must have a current, valid driving licence.
• Applicant must have the right to work in the UK
• CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to overall efficiency and profitability and assist in service delivery.
• Complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks.
• Undertake contractor control duties and monitor workmanship to meet standards.
• Support the site supervisor with integrated delivery and ensure on-time, on-budget, quality work.

About The Role

Days of Working: Monday to Friday - Mon - Fri 08:00-17:00

This is a hybrid role across Northampton, Cambridge and some London sites

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems
• Ensure all delegated reactive works orders and PPMs are completed within the contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
• Provide a significant contribution to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and must, therefore, play its part in the overall delivery of service.
• To complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks accordingly
• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
• Support the site supervisor with the implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services ensuring that all works are delivered, safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota

Essential Hiring Criteria
