Pioneer Selection represents a market-leading FMCG manufacturer in Leeds seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) for a fully automated facility. The role offers a £49,200 salary plus overtime, with days and nights shifts.

You will lead maintenance on automated production machinery to maximise uptime and efficiency. The ideal candidate has electrical bias, strong PLC fault-finding skills, and prior automation experience within manufacturing.

Location: Leeds Salary: £49,200 + Overtime Shift: Days and Nights (Mon-Fri)

Job Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a market-leading FMCG manufacturing business in Northampton. This hands-on role offers long-term job security, structured training, and clear progression within a highly automated, modern facility.You will lead a skilled engineering team, maintaining and improving automated production machinery, ensuring maximum efficiency, reliability, and uptime across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the engineering team in planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance
• Electrical and PLC fault finding on automated machinery
• Respond to breakdowns and drive root cause analysis
• Ensure safe, efficient maintenance operations
• Drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Multi skilled with an Electrical Bias
• Strong PLC fault-finding experience
• Must come from an Automated Factory or Industrial Manufacturing Background
• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
