Job summary

A leading engineering company is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer in Harlow to maintain and control electrical and mechanical equipment. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, performing routine maintenance checks, and compiling daily reports. Candidates must have a formal qualification in Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in heavy industry. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and control electrical/mechanical equipment within the plant.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report actions to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Compile daily report/record system using shift log sheets and breakdown reports.

Job description

Our client is one of the market leaders in glass container production.

Reporting directly into the respective engineering supervisor. The Multi‑Skilled Engineer is responsible for:

• Setting up, maintenance, development and control of the electrical / mechanical equipment within the plant
• Servicing and maintaining the electrical / mechanical equipment within the plant
• Routine maintenance checks across the plant and feedback to the Engineering Supervisor any actions required from these
• Responsible for the compilation of a daily report / record system using shift log sheets, breakdown reports, and electronic / mechanical reports

Experience

• Fully qualified Multi‑Skilled Engineer via formal qualification in Engineering and or Apprentices
• At least 2 years previous Engineering experience within Manufacturing environment
• Experience of heavy industry and working with large production equipment
