Job summary

Skilled Careers in London is seeking a Foot Mobile Multi-Skilled Building Services Engineer to cover planned and reactive maintenance across commercial sites.

You will diagnose faults across mechanical and electrical building services, maintain pumps, AHUs, FCUs, heating and hot-water systems, and update work orders using CAFM.

The role requires Level 3 mechanical and electrical qualifications, 18th Edition, and the ability to travel across London by public transport.

Qualifications

• Level 3 mechanical qualification in mechanical engineering, plumbing, heating, HVAC or building services.
• Level 3 electrical qualification in electrical installation or maintenance.
• 18th Edition qualification where required for electrical duties.
• Strong practical experience across mechanical and electrical building services.
• Experience with CAFM or mobile work-order systems.
• Ability to organise daily travel across London using public transport and walking routes.
• Relevant health and safety training, including asbestos awareness, manual handling and working at height, or willingness to complete required training.

I'm recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Building Services Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial properties throughout London.

This is a foot-mobile role suited to an organised, technically capable engineer who is comfortable travelling between sites using public transport and walking routes.

The Role

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.

• Diagnose faults across mechanical and electrical building services.

• Maintain pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, heating and hot-water systems.

• Work on LTHW, chilled-water systems, ventilation and controls.

What We're Looking For

• Relevant Level 3 mechanical qualification in mechanical engineering, plumbing, heating, HVAC or building services.

• Relevant Level 3 electrical qualification in electrical installation or maintenance.

• Current 18th Edition qualification where required for the role's electrical duties.

• Strong practical experience across mechanical and electrical building services.

• Previous commercial FM, mobile or multi-site maintenance experience.

• Good fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently.

• Experience using CAFM or mobile work-order systems.

• Ability to organise daily travel across London using public transport and walking routes.
