Job summary

Kudos is a well established Facilities Management company serving the Healthcare sector. We are hiring a highly competent Multi-skilled Engineer to join the South team on a full-time basis.

The role covers a wide range of sites within Kudos' 17-site portfolio in and around the London area. The successful candidate will have either mechanical or electrical bias, be capable of fault finding, and work with HTM/industry standards.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled with either mechanical or electrical bias.
• NVQ Level 3 in specialist discipline; 18th Edition preferred.
• IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance across multiple sites in the London area.
• Perform reactive maintenance to HTM standards with accurate RAMS and record keeping.
• Update tasks in the system/tablet in real time and contribute to H&S compliance.
• Assist with HV/LV, Lifts and emergency lighting as required.

Kudos is a well established Facilities Management company working within the Healthcare Sector to deliver a high-quality Facilities Management service to its client, and is looking to hire a highly competent Multi-skilled Engineer to join the South team on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled with either Mechanical or Electrical bias and preferably have experience in working within a Healthcare environment, plus:

• NVQ Level 3 in specialist discipline, to current regulations (e.g. 18th Edition)
• IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is highly desirable
• IPAF / PASMA would be beneficial
• Any HTM or AP training would be beneficial
• The technical ability to fault find, problem solve and diagnose issues.
• A flexible, proactive and adaptable approach, willing to seek and suggest solutions.
  

The Role

This role will be based across a number of sites within Kudos' 17 site portfolio, in and around the London Area. The individual will be responsible for the completion of assigned PPM tasks, ensuring these are completed on time with adequate record keeping, and the delivery of Reactive Maintenance to the required standard within the contractual obligations.

Duties of the role include:

• Working with H&S compliance teams to ensure compliance with all Health and Safety Regulations, Statutory Obligations, HTM requirements, RAMS and Permits are fully observed, managed, and always adhered to.
• Awareness of Statutory Compliance requirements in line with HTM / Industry Standards.
• Provide RP/AP/CP duties as necessary as part of the Operational team for controlled specialist electrical system to include but not limited to - HV, LV, Lifts, Emergency lighting systems, Data systems, Fire alarm systems.
• To deliver mechanical, electrical and fabric PPM in accordance with the relevant guidelines and service levels, for example, SFG20 HTM aligned.
• To carry out Reactive Maintenance duties assigned by the Helpdesk, paying attention to contractual parameters and timeframes.
• To update and close tasks out in real time using the tablet provided.
