Job Title: Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer to join the team located in Daventry.

The successful candidate will perform Electrical and general Maintenance to our client's site.

Shifts: 40H week (days)

Role Summary:

1. Identify and manage the risks to the client through the equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, improving performance of machinery, improving and implementing the preventative maintenance program.
2. Using new equipment and technologies to maintain a working production environment liaising with the client on any requests for certain machinery PPM’s.
3. Fault finding on all types of Machinery.
4. Support others in the department in relation to Health and Safety.
5. Provide Electrical expertise to the Maintenance Department working on Heavy Industrial Machines and Overhead Cranes.
6. Write and follow Risk Assessments and be available to question any issues which arise from them safely and accurately.
7. Completion of the required documentation as specified with the requirements of all rules and legislation.
8. Work on Three Phase Systems with Voltages up to 440V.
9. Working on Motors, Gearboxes, Valves encompassing Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical Systems.
10. Use Mobile Devices to accurately project and complete any works from the CAFM Maintenance System.
11. Use of emailing/calendars to plan your daily work requirements so that all tasks are completed effortlessly and efficiently.
12. Liaise with onsite Site Services to manage any Building Services related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required.
13. To be the responsible person when required for the department and deputise the Shift Leader during annual leave or sickness.
14. To work overtime as and when the business requires, this may include nights and weekends to which notice may not always be given.
15. Perform adhoc duties as and when required.

Experience Required:

1. Minimum of Electrical City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent.
2. 18th edition.
3. Testing and Inspection.
4. UK Driving Licence.
5. Knowledge of other building services an advantage.
6. ACS Commercial & Industrial Gas Safety Approved.
7. Working to Planned Preventative Maintenance Regimes.
8. Installation of electrical services.
9. Fault finding on electrical circuits.
10. Knowledge of lone working requirements.
11. Risk Assessment trained.

Desirable:

1. Working at Height Qualification.
2. IPAF.
3. AP Qualifications.
4. Experience of Heavy Engineering.
