Job summary

Morgan Sindall Property Services Limited is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to join the repairs and maintenance team across Cambridge and surrounding areas. The role involves carrying out a variety of trade repairs and maintenance in social housing, using handheld devices to complete tasks while maintaining high safety standards.

Applicants should have Level 2 NVQ in two trades, Level 2 Building Maintenance Operative or equivalent with flooring experience, and a blue CSCS Skilled Workers card

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 2 NVQ in two trades and a Level 2 Building Maintenance Operative or equivalent with Flooring experience.
• Blue CSCS Skilled Workers card or higher is required.
• Full UK driving licence for company vehicle use (12+ months).

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of trade repairs and maintenance on void and occupied properties.
• Work across Cambridge and surrounding areas delivering high-quality repairs first time.
• Follow safety procedures and use handheld device to receive/complete tasks.

Job description

Permanent – Full Time – 40 Hours (Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00, one hour lunch)

We are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Engineer to join our repairs and maintenance team to work across properties within Cambridge and surrounding areas.

About the Role

Working to deliver the best quality service, carrying out repairs to void properties, you’ll undertake a variety of trade repairs and maintenance work, within a social housing setting. You’ll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training), working efficiently and safely in line with best practice to achieve excellent customer experience.

About You

Candidates will hold a minimum of Level 2 NVQ in two trades and a Level 2 Building Maintenance Operative or equivalent with experience in Flooring. You will hold a blue CSCS Skilled Workers card or higher and have excellent working knowledge of health and safety. Customer focused with experience of working in both void and occupied properties, you’ll have a passion for completing high-quality repairs on time, first time.

You must hold a valid full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).
