We are looking for a talented Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team specializing in manufacturing for our DTO Product Development Business Unit in UK, Darlington, County Durham, United Kingdom.

This role involves working on a weekend shift schedule, with a 37.5-hour week, rotating between 7:00 am – 7:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 7:00 am, with shift allowances. The specific weekend shifts include:

• Fri/Sat/Sun Days
• Fri/Sat/Sun Nights
• Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon Days
• Fri/Sat/Sun Nights

In this role, you will:

• Proactively maintain and repair equipment across multiple areas of the facility.
• Maintain process capability and reliability to achieve optimal machinery and equipment availability.
• Operate Development Test Cells and prioritize based on performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by preventing potential issues.
• Enhance safety and quality by ensuring equipment operates safely.
• Adapt to a rotating week/weekend shift schedule.

Responsibilities include:

• Responding to test cell breakdowns, prioritizing repairs, and operating as a Test Cell Operator.
• Working independently on a 24/7 shift basis to support maintenance and breakdown activities.
• Maintaining Test Cell Equipment and Support Systems, supporting engine tests, and ensuring safety assessments before repairs.
• Ordering parts and coordinating with external suppliers for timely procurement.

Qualifications required:

• HNC qualified in a related field
• NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds 2365 Level 3
• City and Guilds 2382-15 18th Edition
