A leading company in housing services is seeking a Multi Skilled Electrician for their Ashington team. The role involves performing electrical and multi-skilled repairs in both domestic and commercial settings. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and a strong focus on customer service. Location: Ashington (base location)
Contract: Permanent - Full Time
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £38,225 per annum (including April 2025 pay award), OTE £43,000 p/a (including standby)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Electrician in our Property Maintenance and Construction Department within our Ashington maintenance teams. You will undertake electrical repairs and multi-skilled repairs to domestic and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality standards and excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, experienced in domestic and commercial property maintenance, and target-driven. You should possess excellent customer service skills, engaging effectively with stakeholders and representing Bernicia positively. Adaptability to new ways of working and a proactive attitude towards enhancing customer experience are essential.
You must have a sound knowledge of electrical trade practices, the wider building construction sector, and understanding of components, materials, and regulations. Essential qualifications include an NVQ/City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering, 18th Edition, Testing & Inspection, and a full driving license. Proven experience in customer-focused environments is also required.
