Job Description:

Hays are looking for an experienced multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias to work on a static site for a leading defence contractor. The role involves providing a multi-skilled maintenance service covering multiple disciplines, including reactive and proactive maintenance, to all operational equipment.

Key Information:

• Full-time, permanent position, operating a 40-hour working week.
• Join an excellent multidisciplined team of engineers for a global technology leader.
• Based at a static site in Stockport.

Requirements:

You will be required to maintain a high level of building maintenance to support our client, working within an FM team based in Cheadle. While your primary focus will be on electrical work, support in other areas may be required by your line manager.

As a multi-skilled engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high service levels in line with contractual SLAs, ensuring work is cost-effective, technically competent, and safe. You will also work on reactive and PPM maintenance tasks, so demonstrable experience in these areas is essential.

Qualifications required include:

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical testing and inspection
• Strong understanding of building statutory requirements
• Experience in reactive and planned maintenance works
