We are seeking experienced electricians to join an exciting client based in Stockport. Job Title: Multi-skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias. Location: Stockport. Contract: Permanent.

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum.

Hays is looking for an experienced multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias to work on a static site for a leading defence contractor. The role involves providing a multi-skilled maintenance service covering multiple disciplines, including reactive and proactive maintenance as per project requirements, to all operational equipment.

Key Information

• Full-time, permanent position with a 40-hour workweek.

Requirements

• Provide and maintain high standards of building maintenance to support our client.
• Be part of an FM team delivering dedicated services in Cheadle.
• Primarily work with an electrical bias, with support in other areas as required by your line manager.
• Responsible for achieving high service levels in line with contractual SLAs, ensuring works are cost-effective, technically competent, and safe.
• Facilitate stakeholder relationships and deliver a consistent approach across the North portfolio.

Daily Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and PPM maintenance work, with demonstrable experience in both areas.

Minimum Qualifications

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical testing and inspection
• Strong understanding of building statutory requirements
• Experience in reactive and planned maintenance works
