Job summary

Allegis Group Services, Inc. seeks a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer for a static site-based role in Greater London. You will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance, fault-finding and inspections within a commercial building services environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in FM/building services, BVMS/CAFM experience, and a full UK driving licence. UK-based and able to work 40 hours/week with an ASAP start through 31 December 2026.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, AM2 and 18th Edition BS7671 are required.
• Minimum 5 years in a commercial FM/building services environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience essential.
• HVAC knowledge and wider building services familiarity preferred.
• Experience using BMS and CAFM/CMMS systems.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Electrical PPM and reactive maintenance across site assets.
• Fault finding, repair and maintenance of lighting, power, distribution and control systems.
• Electrical inspection, testing and certification per BS7671.
• Support wider building maintenance activities in a multi-skilled team.
• Update CAFM systems and maintenance records.
• Manage on-site subcontractors and participate in out-of-hours rota.

Role Summary

This is a static site-based engineering role responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services systems. We are looking for candidates from a commercial building services/FM background who are confident working independently, have strong customer-facing skills, and can demonstrate excellent electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical PPM and reactive maintenance.


• Fault finding, repair and maintenance of lighting, power, distribution and control systems.


• Electrical inspection, testing and certification in line with BS7671.


• Supporting wider building maintenance activities within a multi-skilled environment.


• Updating CAFM systems and maintenance records.


• Managing subcontractors on site.


• Participating in the out-of-hours callout rota.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.

• Full UK Driving Licence.


• Minimum 5 years' experience within a commercial FM/building services environment.

• Overtime paid at 1.5x weekdays and 2x weekends.


• Bank holidays paid at 2x.


• Standby allowance of £15 per day (£50 on bank holidays).
