Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is recruiting an electrically biased Multi‑Skilled Shift Engineer for a prestigious commercial office building in the City of London. This 4 on / 4 off day shift runs 11:00–23:00, on a modern site close to Bank and Moorgate.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance with a focus on electrical work, including small power, lighting, distribution boards, AHUs and fire alarm testing. NVQ/City & Guilds and 18th Edition are required.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications: Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds equivalent.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations.
• Multi-skilled with an electrical bias.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative and reactive maintenance across building services.
• Electrical maintenance and fault-finding: small power, lighting, distribution boards.
• Emergency lighting and fire alarm testing.
• HVAC: AHUs, FCUs, chillers and pumps.
• BMS monitoring and alarm responses.
• Water hygiene tasks and tap temperatures.
• Plumbing and general fabric repairs.
• Responding to helpdesk requests from occupiers.
• Supervising sub-contractors and managing permits to work.
• Keeping logbooks, reports and job records up to date.

An opportunity has arisen with an established FM service provider in central London.

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting an electrically biased Multi‑Skilled Shift Engineer for a prestigious commercial office building in the City of London, close to Bank and Moorgate stations. You will be part of the on‑site engineering team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the building, with a focus on electrical work. You will have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, ideally within a high‑end City office environment. In return, the company is offering a salary of £50,000 to £53,000 per annum, depending on experience.
