Job summary

Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Service Engineer to provide nationwide support from its King's Lynn facility. You will service, fault-find, repair and install automatic and industrial door systems, working with products from leading manufacturers, from gates to perimeter security.

A strong fault-finding capability and driving licence are essential. Overtime is paid at 1.5x, with training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical, mechanical and electronic fault-finding skills required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills expected.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and attend customer sites.
• Experience with automatic/industrial door systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, fault-find and repair automatic and industrial door systems.
• Work on roller shutters, sectional doors, speed doors, overhead doors and shop fronts.
• Service and repair gates, barriers and perimeter security equipment.
• Occasionally install automatic doors and related products.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and electronic faults safely.
• Adhere to BS EN 16005, DHF standards.
• Advise customers and recommend suitable solutions.
• Complete work independently while supporting the wider team.

Marmon Lift Recruitment is working with a rapidly expanding door installation and maintenance specialist seeking a dedicated Service Engineer to provide nationwide support from its facility in King's Lynn.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing engineering team delivering 24/7 repair, maintenance and installation services for automatic, manual and industrial door systems. The successful engineer will work with products from leading manufacturers, including Hörmann, GFA, Ellard, Assa Abloy, Record, GEZE, Dorma, Stanley, Tormax, Horton and Label.

Overtime & Training: Overtime is paid at 1.5x. Engineers receive product and compliance training covering industrial doors, gates, barriers and automatic entrance systems, with opportunities to achieve relevant qualifications and manufacturer certifications.

• Service, maintain, fault-find and repair automatic and industrial door systems

The Ideal Service Engineer:

• Automatic or industrial door servicing, maintenance and repair experience - DESIRABLE
• Strong electrical, mechanical and electronic fault-finding skills - ESSENTIAL
• Knowledge of BS EN 16005 and DHF standards - DESIRABLE
• EN 16005, DHF Gate Diploma or NVQ Level 2 qualification - DESIRABLE
• Willingness to travel nationwide and attend customer sites - ESSENTIAL
• Excellent communication and customer service skills - ESSENTIAL
• Organised, dependable and able to manage competing priorities - ESSENTIAL
• Positive attitude and willingness to undertake further training - ESSENTIAL
• Full UK Driving Licence - ESSENTIAL
