Job summary

Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced Automatic Door Engineer to service, install and maintain automatic door and entrance systems across West and South West London, covering commercial, healthcare and public sector sites with our established engineering team. You will fault-find, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, carry out testing and commissioning, and meet BS EN 16005 standards.

A CSCS Card and Full UK Driving Licence are essential; ADSA/DHF/Gate Safe qualifications are

Qualifications

• Experience in automatic door service, repair and installation.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Knowledge of BS EN 16005 and industry safety standards.
• Current CSCS card and a full UK driving licence.
• ADSA, DHF or Gate Safe qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, fault-find and repair automatic door systems
• Carry out upgrades, modifications, installations, testing and commissioning
• Diagnose faults safely and efficiently
• Ensure work complies with relevant legislation and industry standards
• Deliver high-quality customer service and document work
• Work independently and as part of the engineering team across the coverage area

Location: West and South West London

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum + overtime

Contracted Hours: 45 hours per week

Marmon Lift Recruitment is working with an established entrance systems specialist seeking an experienced Automatic Door Engineer to cover the West and South West London area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering team specialising in the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of automatic door and entrance systems across commercial, public-sector, healthcare, education and facilities management environments.

Overtime & Rota: 1.5x hourly rate for hours over 45 Monday-Friday and Saturdays; 2x hourly rate Sundays and Bank Holidays. 1-in-9 weekly rota with a £250 rota cover payment. Out-of-hours quoted works payments.

Commutable from: London, Reading, Crawley, Guildford & Basingstoke

Automatic Door Engineer Responsibilities:

• Automatic door service, repair, fault-finding and installation experience - ESSENTIAL
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills - ESSENTIAL
• Knowledge of industry standards, including BS EN 16005 - ESSENTIAL
• Current CSCS Card - ESSENTIAL
• ADSA, DHF or Gate Safe qualifications - DESIRABLE
• Strong communication, customer service and organisational skills - ESSENTIAL
• Full UK Driving Licence, preferably clean - ESSENTIAL
