Job Opportunity: Multiskilled Repairs Operative

Orwell Housing is committed to delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance to our properties. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Multiskilled Repairs Operative with strong plastering skills and expertise to join our team across Ipswich and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out high-quality plastering work, including skimming, patching, boarding, and rendering.
• Work in line with Orwell's vision of fixing repairs the first time, improving quality, and providing a positive first response.
• Use your initiative to minimize call-backs and maximize 'fix right first time' repairs.
• Dealing with tenant enquiries professionally and courteously.
• Liaise closely with Head Office staff to notify and report repair progress.

About You:

Our ideal Repairs Operative will have:

• Proven experience as a plasterer with additional skills in general building/maintenance.
• Knowledge of Carpentry and Plumbing.
• Flexibility to respond to urgent repair needs as required.
