Job Opportunity: Estates & Facilities Technician

The Estates & Facilities Department at Queens Hospital Burton is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at the Burton on Trent Campus. Our team is committed to delivering first-class service, prioritizing quality and patient care.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of healthcare estates maintenance procedures and responsibilities. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive maintenance and installation services across the Trust's Estates, ensuring responsiveness, efficiency, financial effectiveness, and high standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining mechanical and electrical plant and equipment in various locations.
  2. Participating in an on-call rota.
  3. Working both independently and as part of a team.
  4. Providing flexible and efficient service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • City and Guilds apprenticeship or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
