Job summary

Havant & South Downs College seeks a Lecturer/Teacher of Multi-Skilled Construction to deliver inspiring teaching and drive student success.

You will plan, deliver and assess learners, monitor progress, and prepare learning plans and schemes of work. A Level 5 teaching qualification or willingness to train is required, along with substantial subject knowledge and relevant teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Teaching Qualification or willingness to work towards this.
• High level of specialist knowledge of the subject area.
• At least 2 years' teaching experience in the subject area.
• Degree in relevant subject (desirable).
• Fully funded Level 3 Award in Education & Training for new teachers.

Responsibilities

• Plan effectively and deliver high quality teaching, learning, assessment and support.
• Deliver formal scheduled teaching duties, tutorials and student assessment.
• Record, monitor and share student progress using college information systems.
• Prepare learning plans and schemes of work and maintain administration for teaching duties.
