Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Construction Lecturer to teach Brick Laying, Electrical Installations, Plumbing + Gas, and Multiskills to engineering apprentices and students in Solihull. The role involves delivering high-quality lessons, practical sessions, and supporting progression to further education or employment.

The successful candidate will have construction qualifications, DBS clearance, assessor qualifications or progression plan, and Level 2 Maths/English.

Qualifications

• Industry experience and knowledge within construction fields.
• Proven teaching or training experience to groups of learners.
• Knowledge of apprenticeship standards and assessment practices.

Responsibilities

• Teach construction subjects to apprentices and students at levels 1–3.
• Deliver high-quality lessons and practical sessions in bricklaying, electrical, plumbing, and multi-skills.
• Support students to progress to further education or employment.
