Job summary

Hedyn is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Carpenter to carry out repairs and maintenance across residents' properties. The role involves carpentry, basic tiling, plumbing, painting, plastering, locksmith work and roofing tasks, with an emphasis on safety and quality.

You will work as part of a supportive team and may mentor apprentices, helping to deliver timely repairs in line with regulations. This role is based on-site within residential communities and offers a varied, rewarding workload.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry repairs in residential properties.
• Commitment to high quality and safe working practices.
• Willingness to undertake multi-skilled tasks as part of a small team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake carpentry repairs and replacements to doors, frames, stairs, windows, and locks.
• Carry out basic tiling, plumbing, and painting as required.
• Support roofing works and pest-control tasks as needed.
• Record time and materials accurately and communicate with the works supervisor.
