Are you tired of giving hours back for travel? Does your employer expect you to return hours each day for travel? At Sherwoods, we pay our field engineers for door-to-door travel, ensuring you are compensated for all the hours you work.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of a team of 9 Multi-Skilled Carpenters, you'll have the support needed to succeed. Your responsibilities include planned maintenance, emergency reactive calls, and project work, all aimed at ensuring client satisfaction. We operate in a variety of sectors, often close to home, but also offer opportunities to explore different parts of the South West. We provide a van and fuel card, and our industry-leading software helps you manage your workload efficiently.

What You’ll Need

• Experience as a time-served or qualified carpenter in a field-based, multi-site maintenance role.
• Skills in general carpentry, door repairs, tiling, plastering, and roofing.
• A passion for delivering first-class service.
• A full UK driving license.
• Ability to undergo an enhanced DBS check, as some sectors involve contact with vulnerable or young people.
