Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Multi-Skilled Builder / Roofer to join a responsive maintenance team. The role covers roofing repairs, general building works and site maintenance across commercial, education, industrial and retail environments, requiring versatility and willingness to work across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in general building maintenance, roofing or multi-skilled construction.
• Able to perform reactive repairs and maintenance across sites.
• Experience fault finding and repairing leaking roofs preferred.
• Competent in paving, slab laying and external repair works.
• Good health and safety understanding on client sites.
• Full UK driving licence essential; willingness to travel and stay away.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive roofing repairs including diagnosing and rectifying roof leaks.
• Undertake general building maintenance across sites including paving and external works.
• Work as part of a wider team of mobile engineers and maintenance personnel.
• Accurately complete job documentation and provide updates on completed works.
• Travel to client sites throughout the Midlands and South of England, with periods away from home.

Omega are supporting a growing specialist maintenance and building services provider in their search for a Multi-Skilled Builder / Roofer. The successful candidate will join an established team delivering reactive maintenance and general building works across a diverse portfolio of commercial, education, industrial and retail environments. The role will involve a mixture of roofing repairs, building maintenance and general construction works, making it ideal for a versatile tradesperson who enjoys variety and working across different sites. Key Responsibilities - Multi-Skilled Builder / Roofer

• Carry out reactive roofing repairs including diagnosing and rectifying roof leaks.
• Undertake general building maintenance works across commercial, education, industrial and retail sites, including paving, slab laying, repairs and external building works, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard of workmanship.
• Work collaboratively as part of a wider team of mobile engineers and maintenance professionals.
• Accurately complete job documentation and provide updates on completed works and any follow-on requirements.
• Travel to client sites throughout the Midlands and South of England, with occasional periods working away from home.

Qualifications & Requirements - Multi-Skilled Builder / Roofer

• Previous experience within general building maintenance, roofing or multi-skilled construction environments.
• Ability to carry out a broad range of reactive building repairs and maintenance works.
• Experience fault finding and repairing leaking roofs would be highly advantageous.
• Competent in general building tasks including paving, slab laying and external repair works.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements on client sites.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home when required.
