Job summary

Omega Plc is seeking a multi-skilled builder/roofer to perform reactive roofing repairs and general building maintenance across commercial sites. You will join a team of engineers, travel to client sites across the Midlands and South of England, and stay away from home when required.

The role requires a broad range of construction experience, a valid UK driving licence, and a willingness to travel extensively. Competitive hourly rate with company van, uniform, and tools supplied.

Qualifications

• Experience in general building maintenance, roofing or multi-skilled construction.
• Able to carry out a broad range of reactive repairs.
• Experience fault finding and repairing leaking roofs is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence required; willing to travel and stay away from home.

Job description

reactive roofing repairs including diagnosing and rectifying roof leaks. Undertake general building maintenance works across commercial, education, industrial and retail sites, including paving, slab laying, repairs and external building works, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard of workmanship. Work collaboratively as part of a wider team of mobile engineers and maintenance professionals. Accurately complete job documentation and provide updates on completed works and any follow-on requirements. Travel to client sites throughout the Midlands and South of England, with occasional periods working away from home.

Qualifications & Requirements - Multi-Skilled Builder / Roofer

• Previous experience within general building maintenance, roofing or multi-skilled construction environments.
• Ability to carry out a broad range of reactive building repairs and maintenance works.
• Experience fault finding and repairing leaking roofs would be highly advantageous.

Competent in general building tasks including paving, slab laying and external repair works. Good understanding of health and safety requirements on client sites. Full UK driving licence is essential. Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home when required.
