Job summary

SGS is seeking an Asbestos Consultant to perform asbestos consultancy and surveying at client sites across the UK. You will provide expert advice on asbestos risks, ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards.

Role involves carrying out surveys, sampling materials, and recording findings; assessing risks and advising on removal or safe management, with close collaboration to deliver timely reports and resolve on-site issues.

Qualifications

• RSPH Level 3 Certificate in Asbestos Surveying or P402 Qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Minimum 6 months relevant work experience in Asbestos Surveying.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asbestos surveys, safely sample suspect materials, and record findings.
• Assess asbestos risks and advise on removal or safe management to maintain compliance.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams, ensuring timely reporting and on-site issue resolution.
