Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting a Group Quality & Technical Manager for UK multi-site manufacturing in the North West HQ. Hybrid role overseeing quality strategy across a significant FMCG operation, partnering with Operations Director and site leadership.

You will drive customer-focused quality, lead improvement programs, ensure accreditation requirements, and deliver measurable cost savings while shaping a durable quality culture across plants.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years' experience across manufacturing, quality and product/process development.
• Background in paper manufacturing, tissue, paper technology or materials is desirable.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and quality improvement methods is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall Quality Management strategy, systems and improvement plans.
• Ensure internal management systems and processes meet accreditation and customer standards.
• Drive a culture of best-in-class quality across manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Operations to improve factory performance and deliver measurable savings.
• Lead activity around customer specifications, supplier quality, materials and product performance.
• Provide technical expertise around paper, packaging and finished-product specs.
• Use data and insights to identify improvements across product, process and materials.
• Project manage technical and quality improvement activities to implementation.
• Provide clear reporting, action plans and progress communication.
• Participate in site management and broader operational leadership.
