Job summary

Love Childcare Recruitment is seeking a Nursery Area Manager to oversee three nursery settings across Lancashire and Greater Manchester. You will work hands-on in nurseries, ensuring quality, safeguarding, and EYFS standards while supporting each Nursery Manager on a day-to-day basis.

Salary £45-55k depending on experience, with admin support and a clear pathway to future leadership. The role requires regular travel between sites and a Monday–Friday pattern in a small, independent group.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Early Years is the minimum qualification.
• Level 5 or 6 is preferred for seniority.
• Extensive knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee three nursery settings across Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
• Ensure quality and regulatory compliance (Ofsted, HSE, EYFS).
• Conduct weekly inspections and regular audits of safeguarding, DBS, and training.
• Support Nursery Managers and lead staffing, supervision, and wellbeing activities.
• Manage financial aspects including fees, payroll, and costs; report to owners.
