Job summary

The Maintenance Gas Engineer role in Leicester involves performing planned and reactive gas maintenance across multiple pub sites. You will conduct PPM, repairs, fault finding, and installation work on domestic gas systems and commercial catering appliances.

You will also perform gas safety checks, provide quotes, travel between sites, and ensure compliance with SLAs and safety regulations. A UK driving licence and Gas Safe Registration are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in gas maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and installation across commercial and/or domestic environments.
• Experience with HVAC and associated controls is desirable.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Repairs, and Installation works on domestic and commercial gas systems and appliances.
• Carry out gas safety checks, testing, and certification in line with Gas Safe regulations.
• Fault find and repair gas systems and associated equipment.
• Provide on-call service as part of a rota.
• Update CAFM system with progress and completion details.
