Job summary

RNN Group is seeking an Estates Decorator to join the team across multiple campuses, including Rotherham and Dearne Valley, Travel between sites for maintenance, painting and decoration tasks to a high standard.

You will work as part of the Estates Department, reporting to the Director of Estates, Facilities, Health & Safety. The role requires Level 2 English/Maths and a recognised decorating qualification, with 37 hours weekly and permanent status.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting and decorating, ideally in a commercial setting.
• Level 2 English and Maths (or willing to undertake)
• Recognised industry qualification with proven practical ability.

Responsibilities

• Preparation: clean, sand, fill, strip surfaces for flawless finish.
• Apply paints, varnishes and stains to interior/exterior surfaces.
• Install internal and external vinyl coverings to enhance facilities.
• Develop and manage a rolling decoration schedule across campuses.
• Collaborate with Marketing to ensure finishes meet guidelines.
• Tackle planned maintenance and reactive repairs, including mastic/sealing in kitchens and bathrooms.
• Assist campus operations and furniture moves; ensure safety and COSHH compliance.
