Job summary
Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting a Commercial Gas Engineer to maintain and service commercial gas systems across Edinburgh, Clackmannanshire and the Scottish Borders. The role requires independence, travel between sites and readiness for outdoor/winter conditions.
Essential: Full UK Driving Licence, Gas Safe Registration, commercial gas qualifications, and proven boiler/gas appliance experience with strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
Qualifications
- Experience in diagnosing faults on commercial gas and heating systems.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven experience servicing and repairing commercial/industrial boilers and gas appliances.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
- Diagnosing faults and repairing commercial gas and heating systems.
- Servicing and inspecting commercial gas appliances.
- Performing combustion analysis and flue gas integrity testing.
- Maintaining boilers, pumps, ventilation systems and associated plant equipment.
- Identifying and replacing life-expired assets.
- Undertaking minor plumbing and mechanical works where required.
- Supporting installations, upgrades, commissioning and project works.
- Conducting inspections, risk assessments and statutory compliance checks.
