Job summary

RND Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Operations Manager for a premium boutique bakery and café in Central London. You will oversee day‑to‑day bakery and café operations across multiple sites, leading bakery teams and front‑of‑house staff to deliver exceptional products and service.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will balance premium standards with efficient operations, manage staffing and costs, ensure food safety and allergen controls, and drive seasonal launches and campaigns across

Qualifications

• Management experience in a quality‑focused bakery or café.
• Experience across multiple sites preferred.
• Strong leadership and team development.
• Commercial awareness with staffing, stock and cost control.
• Solid knowledge of food safety and allergen management.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily bakery and café operations, ensuring teams deliver fresh, beautifully presented products and exceptional service.
• Support Shop Managers and Supervisors with staffing, rotas, recruitment, onboarding and development.
• Monitor stock, ordering, waste and labour costs to balance premium standards with efficiency.
• Maintain high food safety, allergen management, hygiene and shop presentation standards.
• Resolve operational challenges and coordinate equipment maintenance to keep production and service running smoothly.
• Support seasonal launches, promotions and product photography, ensuring readiness across locations.
