Michael Page is recruiting for a finance role that offers broad experience across reconciliations, financial reporting, VAT submissions, journals, and multi-entity accounting, while supporting a fast-paced finance function.

You will also play a key payroll administration part, handling timesheets, holidays, and payroll queries, with the chance to develop broad finance skills in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance, accounts or payroll administration role.
• Strong understanding of reconciliations, journals, and general finance processes.
• Experience with VAT returns and payroll-related activities.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post financial journals across multiple entities, ensuring accurate month-end reporting.
• Complete bank, credit card, and control account reconciliations.
• Manage VAT, PAYE, and CIS submissions.
• Support purchase and sales ledger activities.
• Validate and process payroll data, including timesheets and absences.
• Act as the first point of contact for payroll queries and assist on finance projects.
