Newcastle Van Driver – Multi‑Drop & Customer Service

Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting on behalf of our client in the Newcastle area for several Van Drivers. You will deliver to residential and commercial customers from 07:00 to 09:00 starts, Monday to Sunday.

Responsibilities include safely operating a company van, loading/unloading packages, handling required paperwork, providing excellent customer service, and completing 80+ stops per day while keeping to schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid UK driver’s license.
• 1 year experience with multi-drop delivery.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
• Flexibility to work 5-6 shifts per week, including weekends.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver to customers (residential and commercial).
• 80+ stops per day.
• Manually load and unload parcels.
• Follow established delivery routes and schedules.
• Ensure all parcels are handled with care and delivered in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service to recipients and senders.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
