Multi-Drop Van Driver – Fast-Paced Deliveries (Temp→Perm)

Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting on behalf of our client in Darlington for dedicated Van Drivers. £13 per hour PAYE, temp to perm. Shifts start 07:00am–09:00am across Mon–Sun, with 80+ stops daily and manual loading/unloading of parcels.

You will deliver to residential and commercial customers, follow established routes, and provide excellent customer service while completing all paperwork accurately. DBS check or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driver’s license.
• 1 year experience with multi-drop delivery.
• No more than 6 points on license (minor offenses only).
• DBS check (or willing to obtain one).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manually load/unload packages.
• Flexibility for 5–6 shifts per week, including weekends.
• Excellent time management and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company van to deliver to customers (residential and commercial).
• Complete 80+ stops per day.
• Manually load and unload vehicles with packages.
• Follow delivery routes and schedules.
• Ensure parcels are handled with care and delivered timely.
• Provide exceptional customer service to recipients and senders.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly.
