Job summary

TRC Yorkshire in Carlisle area is seeking reliable Van Drivers to join our established client’s team. You will safely operate a company van and deliver to residential and commercial customers on a busy multi-stop route.

Shifts run Tuesday to Saturday, Sunday to Thursday, or Monday to Friday with a start time of 09:00. A valid UK driving licence, 1 year of multi-drop experience, and a DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) are required, along with strong customer service and time management

Qualifications

Valid UK driver’s license.
1 year experience with multi-drop delivery.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Recent DBS check or willing to obtain one.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
Flexibility to work 5-6 shifts per week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver to customers (residential and commercial).
50+? 60+ stops per day.
Bulk collections & bulk deliveries.
Manually load and unload packages.
Follow established delivery routes and schedules.
Ensure all parcels are handled with care and delivered in a timely manner.
Provide exceptional customer service to recipients and senders.
Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
