Job summary

Pertemps North Midlands is recruiting multi-drop van drivers for an ongoing role with potential permanent opportunities after a probationary period. You will deliver parcels to commercial and residential properties, with vetting and DBS checks required.

Typical shifts are Monday to Friday, 7:30am start, finishing around 5pm, with 50–70 drops per day on a designated route and ability to lift up to 20kg. Rates vary: standard, overtime, and bank holiday premiums.

Qualifications

• Valid van driving license.
• Experience delivering parcels preferred.
• Able to lift up to 20 kg.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels to commercial and residential properties.

Multi Drop Van Driver/ Courier

Pertemps have an excellent opportunity for multi drop van drivers to join our clients operation on a long term ongoing basis with the potential for permanent opportunities following a period of good performance and attendance.For this role you will be requited to undertake 5 year work history vetting and successfully pass a DBS check.

Working Hours / Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30am to finish which is usually around 5pm

The successful Multi Drop Van Driver will:

• Have previous van driving experience ideally for companies such as Amazon, DPD and Evri
• Undertake 50 - 70 drops per day on a designated route
• Be able to lift items up to 20kg
• Deliver outstanding customer service at POD

Your duties as an Multi Drop Van Driver will include:

• Delivering parcels to commercial and residential properties
• Ensuring all POD is completed correctly
• Delivering excellent customer service

You will receive:

• £16.17 per hour 0-45 hours
• £24.26 per hour 45+ hours
• £32.34 per hour for Bank Holidays
