Job summary

Bidfood Paddock Wood is looking for reliable, customer-focused Van Drivers to join our team on a permanent basis. You will deliver ambient, chilled and frozen food to a wide range of customers across the South East, with a strong salary and a varied, active day.

As a Bidfood Multi-Drop Driver you’ll load, drive and deliver to restaurants, pubs and schools, perform daily vehicle checks and work closely with our Transport and Warehouse teams to meet customers’ needs on time.

Qualifications

• A full UK Category B driving licence.
• Safe and responsible approach to driving.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliability and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently while being part of a wider team.
• Comfortable with a physically active role involving regular lifting and unloading.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Bidfood van on a planned multi-drop delivery route.
• Deliver to restaurants, pubs, hotels, schools and other customers.
• Load, move and unload products safely.
• Provide a friendly and professional service at every delivery.
• Get to know customers on your regular routes.
• Complete deliveries accurately and efficiently.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Work closely with Transport and Warehouse teams.
• Follow all company, road safety and legal requirements.
