Job summary

Matthew Clark, part of C&C Group, is seeking a Multi-drop Class 2 Driver to deliver orders to customers within a local radius. You will work with a Driver's Mate, ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries and excellent customer service.

Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years driving experience, including 12 months Class 2, with a valid HGV and CPC. Occasional weekend work may be required during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Solid driving experience with at least 3 years on the road, including 12 months in Class 2 driving.
• Valid HGV licence and CPC qualification held and up to date.
• Strong customer-service mindset and clear communication while delivering orders.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle checks and ensure orders are secured and packaged for delivery.
• Coordinate with Driver's Mate to download running sheets and orders.
• Inform customers of delays, shortages or issues with orders.
• Assist with unloading and handling of goods at customer premises.
• Collect and return empty kegs/pallets; keep warehouse/yard organized.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and tachograph rules.
• Complete paperwork and EPOD tasks; liaise with Transport Management for vehicle issues.
