Job summary

Layrd Design Ltd. is seeking a creative Content Assistant to join and grow within our marketing team. You’ll produce social-first content across three brands, capture stories from live projects, and help build consistent, high-quality output across the group.

You’ll work with our Marketing Executive and design-led teams to turn events, launches and day-to-day activity into engaging posts, case studies and website content, while developing your own storytelling voice.

Qualifications

• Some experience creating social content through professional work, university projects or personal channels.
• Strong written English and attention to detail.
• Understanding of how brands communicate differently across social platforms.
• Portfolio or examples of content is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create, schedule and publish engaging content across LinkedIn, Instagram and other relevant social channels for three brands.
• Produce short-form video, reels and social-first content from live projects and events.
• Visit live projects to capture photography, video and stories as they happen.
• Turn project updates and launches into engaging social posts, case studies and website content.
• Interview designers, clients and team members to uncover stories.
• Support photography and video shoots with planning and coordination.
• Create simple graphics and branded content using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
• Support website updates, blogs and newsletters.
• Grow personal profiles of key people within the businesses through thought-leadership content.
• Research trends across sport, stadia, hospitality, design and related markets.
• Maintain forward-looking content calendars across all three brands.
• Monitor social performance and identify effective formats and topics.
• Collaborate on campaigns around partnerships, events and launches.
