Job summary

Donnelly Group is seeking a Service Technician at our Northern Ireland workshop. You will recondition and prepare vehicles to high mechanical standards, perform routine servicing, replace components, diagnose faults with modern equipment, and complete repairs to manufacturer standards.

You must have an apprenticeship in light vehicle repair or equivalent, a UK driving licence, and at least two years of multi-brand experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent.
• Commitment to achieve a manufacturer qualification within an agreed timeframe.
• UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and customers.
• Willingness to learn new tools/techniques as needed.
• Health and safety awareness and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Recondition and prepare vehicles to high mechanical standards.
• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance work.
• Replace brakes, timing belts, and other components as required.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Complete repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Accurately record all service, repair, and maintenance work.
• Perform warranty-related inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Ensure work is safe, economical, and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organised, safe working environment.
• Deliver a right first time servicing approach.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction.
