Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is recruiting a CNC Miller for an established precision engineering business in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. You will set and operate 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines from engineering drawings to manufacture complex components.

The role offers a 37-hour week from Monday to Friday with paid overtime and an early finish on Fridays, plus training and progression within a company renowned for high-precision work in aerospace, nuclear, motorsport and medical sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience with setting up and operating CNC mills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings to tight tolerances.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances.
• Carry out quality inspections with measuring equipment and CMMs.
• Support programming and improvements to machining processes.
